Prototype Design Of Home Interface
As a librarian, when I log into the system, I want to see a well-designed home page prototype. This home page should include a navigation menu with direct links to the main functions of resource management, circulation management, and account management. The home page should also display today's new users, today's checkouts, and today's returns to help me quickly understand the status of the library's operations for the day. In addition, I would like to see a list of the most borrowed resources and this month's resource statistics, including the number of new resources, the number of borrowed resources and the number of returned resources, so that I can have a comprehensive grasp of the flow of resources.
-
Clearly labelled menu items for quick jumps to resource management, loan management and account management and notification system. Menus should be designed to be easily accessible and responsive to enhance the user experience. -
Prominently display the number of users added, checked out and returned today. The data should be displayed in a dynamically updated dashboard to keep the information current and accurate. -
Provide a list or chart of the most borrowed resources. The list should include key information such as resource name, number of times borrowed, etc. -
Design an area to show the number of resources added, checked out, and returned for the month. Use charts or graphs to visualise this data and help administrators quickly grasp resource flow trends. -
The interface should be clean and modern, using comfortable colours and fonts to optimise the reading experience. The design should be designed with ease of use in mind, ensuring that administrators have hassle-free access to all information.
