This is WhiskerWay. Our solution to an IoT system that acts as a smart cat flap.
We have used a Raspberry Pi, a GrovePI+ board, a servo motor and a Pi Camera to get this out.
How it works:
- Web App is run locally
- Raspberry, as soon as the imrecognition2.py runs on the pi, it will start working by looking for a frontal picture of a cat and then running the cycle.
P.S:
If the motor doesnt get to the end, as in, it doesnt allow itself to clear the output off the servo pin, it will constantly run. So make sure it does.
